The sky is falling, the sky is falling!

RE: Ottawa mayor declares state of emergency over protests.  By May Warren of the Toronto Star.  Published in the Hamilton Spectator 7 Feb 22

“The sky is falling!  The sky is falling!” says Ottawa mayor Jim Watson over the Truckers for Freedom rally.  This would be the same guy who declared a climate emergency a few years back, and all that came of it was a broken-down LRT! Rallies for freedom are not respected in official Ottawa, whose city motto is “shut-up and obey!”

From his place of hiding, Prime Minister Blackface called the truckers the usual names, racist, white supremacists, etc.  That would include substantial numbers of Sikh, Black, and Indigenous drivers, as well as immigrants from other countries.  The legacy media lapped it up.  Obvious false flag operations continue to be portrayed as representative of the Truckers for Freedom, like the one guy carrying a confederate flag of all things (a media dog whistle that mean nothing to ordinary Canadians).  The truckers now post guards over the national war memorial and the Terry Fox statue to make sure they’re left alone, but this goes unreported in legacy media.  Blackface won’t come out until the big men leave.

The narrative of Canada’s legacy media is negative and worrying.  Everywhere else around the world, the Trucker’s for Freedom rally has received positive attention.  India’s media in particular, peeved that Blackface interfered in India’s farmer’s strike, are ripping him a new one for his hypocrisy now.

Meanwhile, the Spectator’s own hate campaign against unvaccinated kulaks is breaking down.  The page 1 report on a march in sympathy with the Truckers for Freedom significantly contains not one quote from an identified participant.  The Spec did not report a single “march for mandates,” or “give us more repression.” counter-protests occurring anywhere in Canada.

The legacy media’s credibility with the folks is shot.
