RE: I’m for religion, just not like this.  By Kate McCullough.  The Hamilton Spectator 10 Feb 22.

It figures that the complaintant at issue would arise from among two of the rottenest of the rotten disciplines in the Arts: English literature and Education.  She’s challenging the constitutionality of the funding of Separate Schools in Ontario.

“Oh, I believe we have a separation of church and state…” she said.  No, honey.  That’s an American doctrine enshrined in the First Amendment, that we just follow as good practice.

“I think that faith contaminates public institutions, and I think that taking public money contaminates institutions that are supposed to be for worship!  To, me, it’s just an inherent a conflict of interest!!”  Of course you think that, honey.  That’s what you were indoctrinated to think by your postmodernist and Marxist instructors at university.  Do you have anything original?

In the application the plaintiffs say publicly funded Catholic schools violate the right to freedom of religion guaranteed by the Charter!  I don’t see how, but that’s enough of stupid for now.

Honey, read Section 93 of the Constitution Act, 1867.  The right of Catholics in Ontario to use their school taxes to support the school system of the Catholic Church has been a black letter right since Confederation.  In fact, it was an extension of the practice that existed in Ontario prior to Confederation.  The Charter did not overturn Section 93, and if it proposed to, wouldn’t have passed to law.

Who knows how rotten the judge may be?  But if a judge in a civil suit proposes to extinguish Section 93, there’s going to problems.

This suit is another example of American political practice being imported into Canada: to use the courts to achieve what you can’t achieve by legislation.  But not even an American judge would try to overturn, for example, the Fourth Amendment on the basis of the Fourteenth.

These are some of the problems that arise when the education system has been polluted with postmodernism, Marxism, and progressivism.  Everybody’s indoctrinated.  Nobody can critically think for themselves, and all these stupid, nihilistic ideas get insinuated into the empty minds of university students.  Of course, it would have been too much to ask honey to have researched her issue before she took it to court.

The honey in question is Adrienne Havercroft, She looks to be in her mid-30s.  She obviously leads an empty life.
