Global warming strikes again!

RE: Hamilton is expecting 20-35 cm of snow tonight, and a low of -18℃ tomorrow.

As Hamilton digs out from another dump of global warming, little doubt remains.  If this continues, this planet will be cooked in eight years and it will be Canada’s fault!

Until the planet cooks, Canadians need to keep from freezing to death.  Regrettably, the TV monitor that sits where a Prime Minister should be isn’t aware of the limitations of his favorite hobby horses.  The TV monitor didn’t know that solar panels don’t work when covered by a foot of snow.  Windmills don’t turn when under an Arctic high pressure system – there’s no wind.  This is important because when the TV-cum-PM was asked what percentage of Canadians heated their homes with Saudi Arabian oil, the image spoke in its breathiest voice about windmills.  The TV-cum-PM didn’t know that thirty percent of Canadians heat their homes with Saudi oil.

Luckily, Hamilton can rely on Alberta.  Alberta is Ontario’s friendly and reliable source of ethical oil and gas.  With oil trading at $90 per bbl and nat gas at $4.90, Alberta wants Ontario to burn carbonaceous fuel like it’s going out of style, as it may well be. (If they can ever fix the problems with windmills, solar panels, and batteries.)  The Alberta advantage is that none of the money leaving Ontario leaves Canada.  Some thirty percent of Canadians are paying for the upkeep of the Saudi monarchy.

With more global warming in the offing, Alberta will keep Ontario from freezing one way or another.
