Mayor Fred gets knifed

RE:  Mayor is failing racialized citizens.  Op-ed piece by Kojo Damptey, Executive Director of the Hamilton Center for Civic Inclusion.

Whenever I see the term ‘racialized’ I wonder how they got that way.

Anyhow, it must gall Hamilton Mayor Fred Eisenberger to be leading the charge against Quebec’s Bill 21 for its alleged oppression of Muslim women only to be stabbed in the back by a mendicant organization like the Hamilton Center for Civil Inclusion, of which Kojo Damptey is the Executive Director.

Racialized economist Thomas Sowell warned minorities to beware of leaders like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and dare I say Kojo Damptey, race hustlers all.  The leaders of the communities do well for themselves, and keep the community they lead from advancing.  If they advance, the leaders are out of a job.

Damptey complains that Mayor Fred promised to educate and screen to eliminate alleged racism in the Hamilton Police Department, not being able to mandate anti-racism.  If Damptey knows how to eliminate racism, he should tell us so that we can eliminate crime.  If racialized Hamiltonians didn’t commit crime, they would have no reason for encounters with Hamilton’s alleged racists, which, thanks to Kojo, will also be purified of the wrong thoughts.

Damptey also takes exception to Mayor Fred voting against defunding the police.  Surveys in the Black ghettos of U.S. cities show people don’t want police defunded.  They want more policing because it only takes a few bad apples to turn a neighbourhood into a high crime area.  See the difference between the leadership and the actual folks?
