Nothing Was Marked Classified

Vincent J. Curtis

7 Sept 2016

In the course of her interview with the FBI, Hillary Clinton was handed a memorandum between her and Huma Abedin.  The FBI had previously stamped the word “Secret” across the memo.  The FBI asked Hillary if she remembered the memo.

After reading it, Hillary replied that she did not recall the memo and then commented that there was nothing secret in it.  The FBI was testing Hillary to see if she recognized what ought to be classified and at what level.  Hillary’s response showed that she was able to identify classified material, despite not recalling whether or not she had received training in handing classified material – training which would include generally what should be classified and at what level.

Thus Hillary’s statement that “nothing was marked classified” is exposed as a dodge, a deception, a planted narrative.  Saying “nothing was marked classified” implies that she would not know that a document contained classified material unless there were specific markings on the document.  Yet before the FBI, she demonstrated that she could recognize classified material based on content alone.  And this is exactly in accordance with the document she signed on January 22, 2009.

And the FBI let Hillary get away with saying that she thought a (C) marking at the beginning of a paragraph was like a bullet point, with (A) and (B) above and a (D) below!

"Nothing was marked classified” is a deception; it is irrelevant.  Hillary knew that some emails she was receiving and sending contained classified information and ought to be on, sent, and received through a secure, State Department server.  In fact, a small number of email chains contained information classified at the highest level, according to FBI Director James Comey; and Hillary would have known that, markings or no markings.  Yet she did nothing except contribute to the conversation.

Hillary was fully aware of what she was doing.  She wanted to keep secret her ongoing relationship with the Clinton Foundation so that she could co-ordinate with it in selling the favors, the prestige, and the access of her Office and of the United States in return for donations to the corrupt Foundation or for speaking fees for husband Bill.  She wanted to keep secret the fact that Sid Blumenthal was still working for her, despite her promise to President Obama.  Her secrets were more important to her than the secrets of the United States.

Hillary may have thought that, all-in-all, the number of classified files on her server were so few, that it really didn’t matter.  She may have forgotten them.  After all, only 2100 of roughly 30,000 State department business emails contained classified material.  It was those 33,000 personal emails that Hillary tried to destroy that contained the real secrets Hillary was trying to protect, because these are the ones that prove the collusion between her and the Foundation.

“Nothing was marked classified” is a fire Hillary would prefer to fight rather than the one about her corruption in office.

What is becoming clear not only Hillary’s depth of corruption but of  her cleverness in exploiting it.  A fire here distracts attention from a more important fire over there.
