This afternoon, Senator Jeff Sessions was on with Wolf
Blitzer in “The Situation Room.” Blitzer expressed deep concern about Donald Trump having made an off-hand remark about
Second Amendment people being able to block Hillary’s appointment of judges
hostile to the Amendment in the unlikely chance she became president.
In a sound check before a radio broadcast, President Ronald
Reagan intoned that he was there to announce that war had been declared on
Russia and that bombing would commence immediately. Liberals and media had a conniption. In his 2008 campaign for President, John
McCain broke into a song that went, “bomb-bomb-bomb, bomb-bomb Iran.” Liberals and the media had a conniption.
Republican men have a habit of making muscular statements,
and the women in the Democrat Party and in the media are simply going to have
to get used to it.
When asked by Blitzer what he would advise Trump to say, Sessions
did not recommend having Trump say, “Get a grip Wolf! Stop listening to that Begala character. He’s been a Clinton hack for 30 years.”
