In my posting of earlier today, I neglected to include Bill
Clinton among the surrogates for Hillary’s campaign. The reason for this exclusion is that Bill
makes the case for corruption look worse rather than better. Bill Clinton is embroiled in the Lolita
Express scandal, in which he allegedly did not have sex with underage girls
aboard a plane that was owned by Jeffery Epstein, a billionaire friend of the
Clintons and a registered sex offender.
The way the deal worked was that Bill would dismiss his
secret service detail and board Epstein’s plane. (24 times that we know of) Whatever activity
that didn’t take place, didn’t take place over international waters and so a
legal case would have to struggle with jurisdictional issues before it could
even begin. It might be that the laws
that were not broken were those of the United Kingdom rather than those of the
United States, and the UK would decline to prosecute Bill out of concern for
the profound diplomatic issues it would raise.
Today, an emaciated and unhealthy looking Bill Clinton
attacked FBI Director James Comey for not prosecuting Hillary, but instead only
listing the transgressions she was not going to be prosecuted for. Bill ridiculed Director Comey and minimized
the transgressions Hillary engaged in, at the implicit admission of Bill. Comey was making a mountain out of a mole
hill, according to Bill. Actually, Bill
was arguing that Hillary was only a little bit pregnant, since this is a matter
of law, not scale. The question of scale
is dealt with at the sentencing phase.
The reason for this extremely aggressive behavior by Bill
was to try to bury the email scandal once and for all, at least among the media
and the non-kool-aid drinkers among the Democrat Party. Bill evidently thinks he is strong enough to
put away Comey and his accusations and is moving aggressively now to do just
that.
Politically, this is extreme dangerous for all
concerned. If the FBI have something on
Bill, then they could move against him in retaliation. However, to move against Bill they would have
to have the okay of the Justice Department run by Loretta Lynch (a friend of
Bill) in an Obama Administration. Little
likelihood then of that. If they don’t
move against him, and Hillary gets elected, then some heads will roll in the
FBI, and perhaps more than heads will roll.
If Trump gets elected, then Bill may have to watch out, or
perhaps he is counting on the unwritten rule that a successor administration
does not prosecute the misdeeds of the previous administration out of fear of
the shoe eventually being put on the other foot.
Anyhow, it is noteworthy that Lolita Bill, potential First
Lady in a new Clinton Administration, is moving so aggressively to put away
Director Comey and the email scandal.
One wonders what was the calculation behind it.
